Kirsty Short
Kirsty’s love of horses, and desire to compete, started when she joined Pony Club. She quickly realised her passion lay in Eventing and in 2008 she bought her current top horse, Cossan Lad, affectionately known as ‘Bouncer’ to his stable pals. The pair have competed together ever since, from their first novice together in 2008, through 3* level in 2011 and subsequently moving on to compete with the elite at Burghley, Badminton, Pau and Luhmhlen multiple times.

Kirsty remains a huge supporter of young riders and grassroots competition and is still an instructor at Pony Club.
​
All the horses in the All Star stable are produced by Kirsty. As well as Bouncer Kirsty had success with Cortage, whom she produced to 2* before selling, and Kitcoltrim Katix who went on to compete with a new U18 rider hoping for selection for Young Rider teams.

Bouncers current stable mates include the very talented Teddy and Presley, both of whom are amazing horses, destined for great things.

Erin Macdonald EMST
Erin is our Yard manager and resident Equine Massage Therapist. We are very fortunate to be able to benefit from her wealth of knowledge, and her experience gained from competition yards and her work with racehorse rehabilitation in keeping all our horses performing at their best. As well as being a fully qualified Therapist, Erin is hugely passionate about rehabilitation and holistic treatments which is crucial to the wellbeing of all the horses (and humans) on the Yard.
